Course Objectives:
- To understand the community in which they work
- To understand themselves in relation to their community
- To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving
- To develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility
- To utilize their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems
- To develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities
- To gain skills in mobilizing community participation
- To acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes
- To develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters
- To practice national integration and social harmony

- Conducted Haritha Haram on 16/07/2021 .
- Organized a ‘Fit India Freedom Run 2.0’ on 17/07/2021 with several NSS volunteers and faculty
- NSS Volunteers celebrated Independence Day on 15/08/2021 by conducting several cultural programmes
- On account of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav- Celebrating 75 Years of Independence 101’ NSS volunteers sang the national Anthem and uploaded it on M/O sports website and got certificates as well.
- Organized various competitions as part of a Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav- Celebrating 75 Years of Independence
- Organized a webinar and also conducted several competitions on account of ‘NSS day formation’ 24/08/2021.
- Organized a week-long Clean India programme (Dated: 01/11/21- 07/ 11/21) where NSS volunteers collected single use plastic waste from in and around the college area
- Organized a webinar on Drug Abuse on 26/11/2021.
- Conducted republic day parade selection in college and our student, Navya B.A was selected from OU.
